Get traffic to your blog.

You've setup your blog, and now you need an audience. How do you get more traffic to your blog? Here are a few step you should follow to increase your traffic.

1. Use social media to make connections and share your blogs post on.  Use Facebook, Twitter and Google +.  This will also create back links to your blog.
2. Interact on similar blogs and leave comments,  put your blog address at the bottom of your comments.
3. Enable subscriptions with feeds and email.  Subscribers will return to your blog if your article is of interest to them.
4. Use your email signature to promote your blog.  Put a link to your blog in your email signature.
5. Submit your blog to search engines.

How to make money with your blog.

You can make money online with your blog. The easiest way is to use Google Adsense. Google scans your articles and places ads relevant to your article on that page of your blog. If you chose Blogger as your platform then you just need to add AdSense on your layout.  It is very simple task.

There's also AdClickMedia It works the same way as Google Adsense in that you get paid per click on ads on your blog.  You have to create and HTML/JavaSCript section in your blog and copy the ad text from AdClickMedia to that section.

A blog (a portmanteau of the term web log)^[1] is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries ("posts") typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first).

How do I setup a blog?

It is very easy.  Pick one of the following platforms for you blog and follow the instructions.

1. www.blogger.com This is one of the most popular blog platforms around, it's very ease to setup.  You can customize your themes.  The Blogger platform is owned by Google.  The only drawback is that your domain name will include .blogspot.com
2. www.wordpress.com Wordpress is also a free blogging platform, it is easy to customise the themes and also the drawback of containg .wordpress in your domain name.
3. www.wordpress.org Another platform by Wordpress and this one is for the more advanced bloggers out there that want a self-hosted Wordpress blog.
4. www.tumblr.com This is the easiest platform, but also the least customizable.  This platform would be suited to absolute beginners, however making money of this platform would be difficult
